About Haste
Veryan Weston has been a great influence when I first wanted to get more into improvised music. I went to his house many times, playing, listening to and talking about music. Veryan has an enormous library and is very knowledgeable and happy to pass it on to others.
The two of us first got together to play Steve Lacy tunes. Hannah Marshall had already been playing with Veryan and he suggested we expand to a trio. We left the Steve Lacy tunes behind and are an improvising trio for the time being. Our CD Haste has been released on the British label EMANEM.
